The Red Devils Set to Sign Germany Striker Lea Schüller from the Bavarian Giants

Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing for prolific Germany striker Lea Schüller in a permanent move from Bayern Munich.

The forward, with six months left on her contract, is known as a prolific goal-getter for both club and country. She has netted over 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 appearances for Germany. Her arrival will be seen as a marquee signing for the WSL team.

Departure from Munich was expected after she appeared to be fighting back tears while thanking the German club’s supporters following a win over Bayer Leverkusen this month.

It was reported in late December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was set to lose one of its leading strikers. According to reports, all the paperwork for the move have now been completed.

The 28-year-old’s arrival is expected to provide a major boost to the team's forward line. Schüller has been highly consistent with her finishing in Germany’s top flight.
