The Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Astrological Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm within the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the game's release, to trainers forming strong views on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With numerous of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can connect this with astrology? This list is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was almost chosen for Aries, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as always angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why Aries far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Stay on the good side of either and enjoy a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Much like a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross species, both in its regular and Mega form, has aided many players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the Pokémon and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their side to the end. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed love of snacks. Several past official descriptions mention their fondness for sweet sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it everything, which is true Taurus energy.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this total queen. It's impossible to tell me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, providing an endless fountain of chatter to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's very simple to envision Super Medicham captivating an whole Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its capacity to foresee an opponent's future actions, which seems very similar to a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly considered as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a intense sign known for often becoming wrapped up in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully control,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. It is also known for its capability to create a thundercloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their good time.

Leo – Super Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Super Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, based on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Lion brings to the table. Starmie is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a show, even if for aliens.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant digestive issues. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo posts to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a plan.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic being, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them worry even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became sentient through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some version of a “playful small entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is possibly the non-fire placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being chaotic accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire category matches seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating aura is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
