Musician D4vd Reportedly Identified as Person of Interest in Death of Teen Discovered in Tesla

This performer known as D4vd has been identified as a person of interest in the demise of Celeste Rivas, a young girl who went missing and was later found deceased inside the musician's Tesla vehicle this past fall, as per police.

Discovery of the Body

The deteriorated remains of Rivas, aged fifteen, was located in September inside the frunk of a ebony Tesla registered to D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. This vehicle had been issued a violation in a Los Angeles neighborhood and afterwards confiscated at a vehicle storage facility in the city.

Investigators suspect that Rivas probably succumbed in the earlier part of the year, noting that D4vd had likely been involved in cutting up and discarding the corpse. The artist has refused to cooperate in the investigation, according to a official representative.

D4vd, referred to as “David,” is a New York-born artist known for the hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his manager were residing at a Southern California home in the Hollywood Hills in the fall, per the property's landlord, until law enforcement entered the residence.

D4vd has contracted with Darkroom and Interscope. The artist was traveling for performances at the time Rivas's corpse were located, but cancelled those appearances subsequent to the finding of Rivas's body.
