The Gunners' ten-match victorious run was ended by the Black Cats before the international hiatus, but can the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still manage to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, versus AI, readers and a range of special visitors.
In the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
The singer's new album, the new release, is available on the weekend.
Olly is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of multiple charity football matches down the years - but he is not intending a serious comeback as a player.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a mate of mine," he said. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."
The singer and his wife his partner have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I will not push football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be coaching their weekend football team," he added.
"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a period too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He managed our team for two or three seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their offense is now more potent with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be quite tight, though. Burnley are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
This smells of a 1-1 tie to me, but I am in fact going to go with Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
The Cherries have lost their previous couple games - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's sole on the road win this season came at Forest in the summer, when West Ham boss Nuno was previously Forest coach.
Therefore, what on earth do I predict here - will it be West Ham extending their streak under their manager, or the home side responding?
I am going to choose Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
The guest's prediction: The home team are doing well but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign started, but they have impressed a several people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their last four matches.
My son told me to select Bees striker Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.
The forward will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support Brentford at Brighton's ground.
They have not had great fortune on the travel this term, and Brighton are always decent at home. The visitors will attempt to hit them on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side carry much more of a danger.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
This is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six matches.
Fulham have got plenty of quality in their squad but it still seems like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.
As for the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.
Their display in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not seen any other team rough up the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated the Blues at the end of last month.
However I am not going to choose that. Rather, I truly need to continue going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they evidently love to prove me wrong.
Considering the home side's home form, the sole side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Marco Silva's side will be absolutely eager for a good result, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a poor run... but they have nonetheless been decent at home this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0
It is a hard fixture to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but could they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
