Defiant Wilfried Nancy does not fear the sack yet the Parkhead faithful show wrath following derby defeat.

Wilfried Nancy insisted he had no concerns about losing his job, claiming, “We are extremely close to a turnaround,” even after edging perilously close to the chopping block with a heavy defeat by their arch-rivals.

“The standard we had at certain moments was exceptionally high. That happened. I could not speak so positively if it was not the case. Therefore, regarding outcomes, I mentioned this is the same story. For that reason I feel we are nearly there to a shift in fortunes. But for the moment: details, details, details.”

“I saw many, many good things that we did, once more. But now is sustaining it. My message would change if it was not the case. This is why I am convinced the team can to turn things around.”

The Rangers Boss Stance

The victorious boss was cautious about a title charge in spite of what felt like a landmark win. “One match at a time, and we can really build up a challenge,” he said. “The confidence in the group is immense.”
