Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving

In a bizarre partnership that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of forbidden rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.

The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an special katana together with numerous objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Addition

This release also introduces the game's latest complimentary story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
